Saturday's Top Five Laughs

5. New Word

I always love when Wolf Prince has new words or new signs. Usually it's new signs. He only says a few words: mama, dada, bah (bye), buh (calling the dog), OK, yea, hi, uh-oh, etc. Our new word this week: Whoa. Yep, "whoa". New book: "whoa". Mom drops something: "whoa". Finding stuff he shouldn't: "Whoa!" Diva Dog misbehaving: laughs hysterically.

4. But I Missed You!

Diva Dog has some separation anxiety. She howls when kenneled if we are leaving. She has to be next to the door if I am in a room. She follows me everywhere. She gets into the garbage and destroys the house if we are gone. Papa Wolf. who claims he doesn't like Diva Dog, suggested that we place her in the spare bedroom on Wednesday. It was going to be the first full day we were gone, and he thought it would be mean for her to be kenneled the whole time. (Doesn't like her, huh?) She jumped on the bed and could see out over the driveway. She destroyed the blinds over that window. Completely removed over half of them and all were broken. She left the other set not facing the driveway alone. Thursday I moved the bed out and pulled the blinds up so she couldn't do anything.

3. Egg Time!

Wolf Prince decorated some eggs over the weekend. Well, mainly he watched me put the egg in the cup and dye it, but he liked watching. He decided it was his turn and grabbed the cup. He dumped it all over himself and my self. We both have destroyed pants and had stained legs. The next day we had an egg hunt. He was finding all the eggs and shaking them before it started and I was stealing them and putting them back. As soon as it started, he wasn't interested. I helped him gather a few eggs.

2. HuHot

Wolf Prince loves HuHot. Granted, he loves pretty much all food except broccoli and anything that looks remotely like broccoli. At HuHot, he only shares with me since I have to have peanut-free food, and we don't want him exposed. I gave him some of my food. He stuffed it in his mouth and then gave his evil laugh. Papa Wolf gave him some spicy beef from his plate expecting that he wouldn't want anything else of that plate, but Wolf Prince loved it. I had to get spicy food the second time around, and then Wolf Prince gave a big "Mmmm" with the new plate.

1. Music Lover

On Saturday, Wolf Prince and I were having a lazy day at home. We were watching tv, and he started swaying to the music. Then he managed to sneak into my bedroom. He turned the alarm clock radio on and was swaying again. He was at this for 20 minutes.

As an update, we have not heard "no" again since April Fool's Day. No complaints here.
